Don’t miss the quackiest race on the San Bernard! FOR River Regatta Lil’ Duck Race Sunday, 21Oct12 You need not be present to win but it's more fun if you are –– see you on the river!!!

It’s the first ever, wacky, quacky Lil’ Duck Race on the San Bernard River. One thousand bathtub ducks race for first place on Sunday, 21Oct12. A quack team of duck wranglers will herd the ducks from their jumping off point, a half mile upriver, to the finish in front of Dido’s Restaurant at approximately 2:00 p.m. The race course will be marked along the river bank by yellow balloons.

Each duck is numbered to correspond to a duck ticket number and will win a great prize for its lucky ticket holder. First duck to arrive wins a custom golf cart. Second duck to arrive wins a $1,000 Carnival Cruise travel voucher. Third place arrival wins a 42” HD TV and fourth place wins a Kindle eBook eReader. The last of the duck tickets can still be purchased by mail. Order form.

Don’t miss the other River Regatta events that same day – the Paddle/Power competition on the river from 11:30-2:30 pm, Gumbo Cook-off and craft beer tasting at 1:00 pm, live Cajun music, and live auction at 3:00 p.m. Winners announced after the auction.
