Morning activities
  • Breakfast in cafeteria  7:00-9:00 AM by Food Express of Brazoria
  • Cattle drive Parade 10:00 AM on Hwy 36 from Buc-ee’s south to Civic Center grounds

Activities during day at the Brazoria Civic Center, 202 W. Smith, Brazoria
  • Free Pony and Horse rides
  • Western kid games
  • Face painting by MAFA
  • Longhorn demos
  • 4-H petting zoo
  • Owl Exhibit in the Environment Room     
  • Demonstration booths by several County historical organizations
  • Master Naturalist and Friends of Brazoria Wildlife Refuge booth
  • SPCA
  • Native Indian educational booth
  • Metal detecting pit - Kids will find historic treasures
  • Statue of Henry Smith, the first provisional governor of the Republic of Texas

Ongoing events
  • Entertainment in the auditorium all day
  • Brazoria Elementary Alumni Reunion 11:00 AM Conference room         
  • Barbeque lunch by Ben’s Chuckwagon $10:00  Hot Dogs Available
  • Honoring past  Brazoria Elementary Principals 1:00 PM Theater

Brazos Valley Railroad Society Museum open 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, at 208 W. Smith Street  
  • HO Scale layout of Brazoria County in 1955
  • O-Scale models of  locomotives including the world's largest operating steam locomotive, the Union Pacific Challenger
