2013 Refuge Friends “Fly In”
 Dear Friends,
Please
join the National Wildlife Refuge Association on Tuesday, April 16 and
Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Washington D.C. to urge your members of
Congress to protect funding for the National Wildlife Refuge System!
Come
to Washington D.C. and let Congress know that you and your community
want to protect funding for the National Wildlife Refuge System.
Congress needs to know the affects budget cuts are having on wildlife
conservation and your local economy.
Your lawmakers need to hear from you, here in Washington D.C., as to why your refuge is important to you and your community.
Please plan to arrive Monday, April 15th.
Advocacy training will be Tuesday morning from 8am to noon. We’ll spend
Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday on the Hill and meeting with key
members of the Administration.
Southwest
Airlines has generously donated tickets to NWRA that will be available
to Friends groups near airports they service. Please budget for all
other expenses.
