Levi Jordan SHS Planning Meeting
202 West Smith Street, Brazoria, TX 77422.
Saturday, March 23, 2013 8:30 - 4:00 PM

The Levi Jordan Plantation State Historic Site has begun an important planning phase to make the site more relevant and meaningful to the local community as well as to visitors from afar.

But we need your help. We are contacting you as someone with an interest in the history of Brazoria County and its important historical sites like the Levi Jordan Plantation.

This planning process will help us prepare for the creation of educational programs and exhibits at the Levi Jordan Plantation SHS.

We are examining all portions of the site's rich and varied history to help chart these improvements and would appreciate your involvement.

You are invited to attend a workshop as a part of the planning process on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Brazoria Civic Center and Museum, 202 West Smith Street, Brazoria, TX 77422. Map

We will be meeting in the conference room from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM with a break for lunch. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided during sign-in beginning at 8:30 AM.

While participation for the full day is encouraged we value your time and would welcome you for part of the day if necessary.

This meeting will allow us to work with significant members of the community and scholars to gain insight into important aspects of the site’s history for our future plans.

For your reference a draft agenda of the day's activities is available here.

So that we can make the necessary arrangements for the number of people in attendance please RSVP by Monday, March 18 to me by return email or at the phone number listed below to
